İnci GS Yuasa, one of the leading players in the Turkish battery industry, aims to accelerate its growth journey by further strengthening its production power and effectiveness in global markets with its new senior appointment in the 10th year of its partnership.
Orhan Sayman, the new Executive Director of İnci GS Yuasa with a strong academic and professional background, graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Department of Management Engineering and completed his MBA program in Marketing and Finance at Illinois University in Chicago.
Mr. Sayman, who stands out with his leadership roles in different countries in his professional career, has achieved significant success in international markets with his long years of experience. He served as a senior executive at Arçelik A.Ş. for 27 years, leading projects focused on transformation, integration and sustainable growth in the Americas, Europe and Asia.
Mr. Sayman started his career as a Sales Specialist at Arçelik in 1996, and then assumed his first international leadership experience as Sales Manager in 2000 and General Manager of Beko Poland in 2002; he continued to serve as Regional Director in the same country in 2005.
In 2008, Mr. Sayman led the integration process as the General Manager of Beko-Grundig in Spain and returned to Turkey in 2009 to serve as Arçelik's Western Europe and North America Sales Manager until 2015. In the 2015-2016 period, he assumed the role of Europe and America Sales Director. In 2017, he took over the responsibility of Russia and Ukraine General Manager and led the company's return to profitability in the region.
Serving as Beko's Regional Director for Russia & Central Asia in 2020-2022, Sayman continued to manage the same region during the Whirlpool-Beko integration process and successfully managed the organization covering 8 countries and over 4,000 employees. In his role as President of Beko North America, which he assumed in 2024, he strengthened the company's performance in a short time.
